It is my privilege to serve people in North Carolina and South Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist.

I work with people experiencing chronic illness, substance abuse, anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions. I also specialize in working with the military, veterans, first responders, and college students. I utilize various treatment approaches in our work together such as Brainspotting, CBT, and mind-body interventions, all from a strengths-based perspective. I am also a Lyme Literate Therapist. I have the tools and knowledge to help you manage chronic illness.

My purpose in healing is to empower you to find freedom from old wounds and areas of struggle, let go of fears, grow in confidence, thrive in relationships, and create the life you truly desire.

I also provide clinical supervision to North Carolina LCSWA’s. To learn more about supervision, please contact me.

I provide my therapy services to all of North Carolina via online therapy.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of individual issues as well as a wide range of relationship issues. My therapy style is engaging and directive. I believe in treating all with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and empathy. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused modalities with emotionally focused therapy interventions. I also operate from a trauma-informed perspective as an online therapist.

I believe we are wired for connection with others and enhancing those connections are a key to living a fulfilling, meaningful life. The way we perceive and view ourselves and our challenges in life significantly impact how we manage the difficulties we encounter.

As a therapist, I am passionate about helping people thrive and live their most fulfilling lives.

I utilize various treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBC), and Reality Therapy. I also have experience using Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. I understand that each person is unique and adapt my therapy style to fit the specific needs of the individual.

I offer my therapeutic services to all of North Carolina via online therapy.

As a trauma therapist, I understand how trauma re-wires the brain in an attempt to protect you, but it can also be holding you back from enjoying your life. I come from a medical background, treating end-of-life patients in hospice care and patients with autoimmune disorders.  I have also worked closely with patients with a neurodivergent disorder, highly sensitive people, as well as those with level 1 autism.  One of my passions is utilizing Pain Reprocessing Therapy to assist people with chronic pain and chronic illness to reduce symptoms.

No matter what your situation – whether you are grieving lost loved ones, dealing with a difficult life change, working through past wounds, figuring out who you are, or simply feeling stuck – I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported.

As a therapist, I provide my therapeutic services to residents throughout North Carolina via online therapy.

I enjoy working as a therapist with adults who are navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and identity challenges. I also enjoy connecting with communities of color and individuals who are new to therapy. If you feel like the weight of day-to-day responsibilities are piling up on you, I want to work with you!

I utilize a variety of techniques in session that include visual aids, in session practice, educational handouts, at home practice, videos, music, narrative writing and more. I encourage you to bring any content to session you may find helpful as well. I recognize there is no “one size fits all approach” and I believe in meeting you where you are and walking with you on your journey.

Our Therapists Mission

We love empowering people through the process of therapy and watching them achieve a RENEWED WELLNESS – happiness, confidence, and fulfillment in life. We believe that in order to feel whole, processing your story AND identifying coping tools, are equally valuable. Together, we uncover underlying “blocks” leading to distorted thinking.

Let’s connect, no matter where you are!

It is important to us for therapy to be accessible to everyone, which is the main reason we are an online-only provider. Throughout the years, we’ve noticed people having difficulty getting the care they needed due to work schedules, lack of childcare, illness, lack of local resources, and other commitments. We don’t want that for you. Online therapy in North Carolina can be held at your convenience in a place you’re comfortable in, allowing more time for other obligations in your life.
